A new blood to the marble reserve of Turkey. A magnificent solid, hard and strong reserve with the approximate dimensions of 3,5 km x 1,5 km and very suitable for cutting, polishing and processing. The close proximity of the reserve area to the town centers and unavailability of communication, electricity and water problems as well as of forest areas in the surrounding region present unobtainable opportunities and eases within itself for a quarry operation. Billions cubic meters of marble wait for their conversion into an economic value ready for operation. A hydroelectric power station is currently under construction over the river Kurucay, located at a distance of 5 kms from our site.
The specifications of the significant reserve as aforementioned hereinabove covering 5 natural stone licenses (II. Group) area (500 hectares) being located in the province of Sivas, Imranli-Divrigi Town, Yoncabayiri Location, the Mount Cengelli are as follows:

A significant reserve: Having a length of 3.500 m, width of 700m in the east 700 m, 600 m in the west.
Height: 60 m in most of the places.
Depth within the earth: Approximately 400 m.
Communication: 500 m from a stabilized route, 4 kms to the land road (pavement), 25 kms to the railway (it is a distance to the Town Ilic of Erzincan province),
Electricity: At a distance of 3 kms to the transformer.
Water: lots of underground water resources are available around the quarry.
Non-crack block reserve is available in billions of cubic meters.
No forest land is available in and around the quarry site.
Altitude: 2300 m.
Color: Beige, various shades of the beige mostly light beige, pink, light pink and white.
Side rock: The reserve, called as the Elazig cherry marble is available in the western side of the reserve.
Detail Specifications: There are voidless, compact, hard and resistant to blows, massive and homogeneous limestones available at the license site nos. 20055289, 20055290, 20065229, 20065230 and 20065231 of the Mount Cengelli of Sivas Province, Imranli-Divrigi Town, Yoncabayiri Location, the Mount Cengelli. The light beige, pink, beige, yellowish beige and white limestones contain high carbonates. No physical decomposition and alteration types of formations have been developed. The hardness values of the limestones, of which average of the porosity values is 0.487 % and average of the Water Absorption values in weight is 0.308, are 3.5 – 3.6 Mohs. The limestones taking place on the Mount Cengelli are considerably appropriate by such specifications of them in terms of block production in quarry operation, board (plate)production at the operation plants and finally, of the polishing procedures. The petrographic and mineralogical examinations of the limestones, carried out by the polarizing microscope have shown that the homogenous and intense looking limestones have consisted of thin grain calcite minerals with the dimensions of 0,002-0,003 mm. The limestones contain calcite crystals at dimensions of 0,05-0,2 mm, fossil coquinas with CaCO3 (Calcium carbonate) composition at the dimensions of 1-3 mm. By these specifications, the quarts minerals takes place within the rock that is “fossil micritic limestone” at a proportion of 0,5-1 %. The limestones are cemented tightly at a degree to be able to prevent the cavity development with the carbonate containing clay.
