In 1933, Altinfil named by its founder Sekerci Tahir Cavus, first began operating out of a very small production facility in Sehrekustu Elmaci Pazari, a small residential area near Gaziantep. The main production was based on different kinds of sweets and Turkish delight. During the first years of business, all family members involved, put all their energy and effort in this business. As a result of which, all sales within and outside the city went up very quickly as well as consistently. Family members determined work attitude has been the main cause of all increasing production volume, employment opportunities and profitability. Following Sekerci Tahir Cavus death his son Sekerci Mehmet Tahir took over the business. With his contributions to the company, the development became even more significant. In 1993, Altinfil took a different turn, with Sekerci Mehmet Tahir's son Mesut Yediler's involvement they decided to include dried nuts and fruits to their product mix. As a result of this move this family establishment turned into a more profitable business while offering more employment opportunities to others. Altinfil has become the first establishment in Gaziantep to receive the first production certificate from the Ministry of Agriculture. With three copyrighted brand names, Mesut Yediler Sekerci Tahir Efendi has proven its quality and became a recognized name in the industry. At the moment, all brand names are successfully managed by Sekerci Tahir Efendi Ltd.Co. It is essential at Mesut Yediler's company that all quality standards required by Turkish Food Codex are met and that there is 100% employee-employer coherence within the company.
