Established by combining the savings of doctors, pharmacists, chemists and engineers for manufacturing and marketing of medical drugs in 1956, in Adana. HEKTAS directed to manufacturing and marketing of agricultural chemicals, which is its essential field of activity, in 1962 and established its first production plant in Istanbul.

As a result of being of leading position in its sector; Hektas has been moved to its existing plant in Gebze Organized Industrial Zone, Kocaeli, in 1991 which is well-equipped and with high capacity.
Hektas, after the studies made in agricultural industry since its inception, decided to use its brand awareness, industry leadership, extensive sales and distribution network in veterinary pharmaceuticals industry and has started the production and sales of veterinary medicines in 2005.
Hektas's product portfolio includes, according to the country’s ecological structure and crop range, more than 350 agrochemicals with the widest product range in crop protection sector and 25 veterinary health products. Our company's marketing and sales team operates in local market within seven regions in the province, as well as 5 regions representatives that carry out on the basis of veterinary medicine sales organization with a great distribution network of about 1,500 point of sale and dealers. Hektas has also export operation in Middle Eastern and Central Asian Countries, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, C.I.S. countries and the Balkan Countries.
