Company has started its operations in 1952, and has founded the first nonwoven facility in Turkey in 1968. The pioneering company in 1968 is still the leader of the turkish nonwoven sector in 2004.Cavit Cicek was producing formerly by only chemical methods, but new developments and needs of the market has led on the company to add neddle punch and thermal bonded systems in a 12.000 sqm facility in Istanbul, the production is carried out today by chemical, neddle punch and thermal bonded systems.Having the development principle Cavit Cicek Textile continued to invest to backup the economy of the country. The company continues to manufacture under artical leather felt, under collar felt, velour, ground and ceiling carpet, geotextile and filter for many sectors including medical, automotive, construction, confection sectors on a 15.000m2 closed area of 43.000m2 open area. In our company the products are manufactured according to ISO 9001:2000 and OEKO-TEX standards.
