Balsari Olive Oil company is a family owned company, founded by Ali Balsari in Izmir, Turkey in 1980. In the early years, Balsari was an olive oil trader and a chemical solvent manufacturer. Balsari became one of the major companies in the domestic market in short time. Over the years, it has expanded its business in the international market. First, Balsari started to exporting olive oil to the Far East countries. Balsari opened an office in New York in 2001 and expanded the market in U.S.A. Today, Balsari still continues its business as a manufacturer and exporter. With a flexible production facility, the company is able to manufacture in retail packs (tins), glass bottles, PET, and PVC. Balsari is still headquartered in Izmir and has expanded to include a sales office in New York.
Because of its contributions, the company has been awarded numerous times by the Izmir Chamber of Commerce and the Aegean Region Chamber of Industry.
Balsari olive oil complies with the national and international standards Balsari has a certificate of ISO22000 (HACCP). The olive oil is Halal and Kosher certified.
