The first seed that was to grow in the Turkish Trade life was sown with the founding of a grocery store in Şanlıurfa-Viranşehir in 1964.
Our first company was founded in Istanbul in 1981 under the title Akyürek Kardeşler Mehmet Akyürek ve Kardeşleri Kolektif Şirketi and started foodstuffs wholesale in the office in Fatih/Fındıkzade which still exists.
The companies, which were managed under correct strategies, supported with modern management techniques and developed under an organisation necessitated by the work, formed the expert companies in the Fast Moving Consumption Goods Marketing and Distribution, Retail and Fuel sectors.
As years went by, strategic business partnerships were formed with companies such as Dardanel, Unilever, Algida, Fritolay, British American Tobacco, Trakya Birlik, Marmara Birlik, Fiskobirlik, Dr. Oetker, Dimes, Total and Petrol Ofisi, and a structure based on mutual trust, growing together and long-term cooperation was created and maintained.
Our company AKSAN, which offered product groups such as sugar, legumes and herbal teas to the Turkish people’s tables, has always been busy with new production investments since 2004.
Since 2007, our company TACOTARIM, which has been importing chemical fertilisers under the TACO brand and selling it successfully in Turkey, has become one of the most important companies of the fertilisers sector.
With its expert managers and its personnel reinforced through professional training, especially on Quality System Management, the Akyürek Holding Companies have a structure based on continuous growth, which adapts itself to the changing conditions of the Country and the World through rapid development.
