ORS has a capacity of around 60 million bearings in its 100.000 m2 state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and aims to have a 80 million annual bearing production with recent capacity investments.

1982 Ortadoğu Rulman Sanayi established.
1984 Partnership Agreement signed with Steyr Waelzlager/Austria.
1986 Mass production started.
1987 Annual production reached 4.5 million finished goods.
1988 First export was executed.
1989 SKF acquired STEYR. License agreement continued with SKF Austria.
1991 End of license agreement with SKF Austria.
1992 Double-row bearing production was started. Annual production reached 10 million with a cumulative total production of 50 million.
1993 ISO 9000 audit and certification was received. Waste-water treatment plant was constructed.
1994 Export reaches 35% of all sales.
1996 Annual production capacity reached 20 million with a cumulative total production of 100 million.
1997 New forging facility of 10000 m² was established.
1998 Co-generation power plant was started.
1999 USA Warehouse was established.
2000 QS9000 certification was received. First fully automatic Grinding-Assembly-Final Control production line started running.
2003 ISO/TS 16949 certification was received.
2004 ISO 14000 certification was received.
2005 Ford Q1 audit certificate was received. Annual bearing production reached 50 million bearings. Two new Natural Gas Co-Generation Power Plants was built.
2006 Forging and Turning facilities of 40000 m2 was built.
2007 Annual Production reached 55 million bearings.
2008 Manufacturing of Cylindrical and Tapered Roller Bearings was started.
2009 R&D Center was established. Manufacturing of Sheet Metal Clutch Bearings was started.
2010 Second Wastewater Treatment Plant was built.
2013 New Factory Building of 26000 m² was built.
2014 ORS Produced its 1 Billionth Product.
