TeleGrid® products represent a highly-specialised combination of high-modulus polyester yarn and product technology which have been mastered by Tele Textiles for more than 20 years. The products are made utilising advanced weaving technology and then coated with PVC for protection and easy handling. Special advantages . high flexibility: it follows site contours even at low temperatures . handling on site: very easy as TeleGrid® does not roll back on itself and does not require pinning, thus offering considerable cost savings. design life time: polyester is very stable and a design life up to 120 years is normal. overlaps: TeleGrid® is offered in 5.20m rolls as standard. The larger roll width means less overlaps is required, which offers considerable on-site cost savings Strength TeleGrid® offers a range of products with high strength at low elongation. The stress-strain properties for TeleGrid® are found in accordance with relevant CEN/ISO standards. Durability Polyester is a very resistant and stable polymeric material confirmed by rigorous tests. Combined with advanced weaving technology this results in a product with excellent characteristics regarding resistance to creep, mechanical damage, UV-light and chemical and biological degradation.Friction The interaction between the grid apertures and the soil grains in the surrounding fill mass ensures very good friction properties for TeleGrid® confirmed by applicable tests.
