Genel Elektrik Aydinlatma Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. was established to manufacture, export and import indoor and exterior lighting fittings, lamp ballasts, lighting columns and every lighting material. The whole production is done under GESTAS the registered brand. Starting with laboratory and test equipments testing as a first step of the facility the company manufactured the first products with TSE quality authorization and certification and has been continuing to its production in this way for over 20 years. We also have the honor of being known and trusted for uncompromising commitment to the quality since the establishment.Until 1993 the company manufactured mainly street lighting fittings, industrial and projector lighting fittings, high pressure lamp ballasts. The company became one of the biggest manufacturers of especially the street lighting fittings need of Turkish Electricity Administration and Head Offices. The company manufactured IP 65 high protected Projector Fittings of Turkey for the first time and became the only prefer for lighting of many sports facilities, squares, tunnels, monumental and architecture pieces. After manufacturing of exterior lighting in 1993 the company extended its product range with special products and still continues to be the manufacturer of the sustained lighting of foremost institutes of Turkey as well as in the past. In 1997 getting the Quality Assurance Certificate of ISO 9001:2000, the company still manufactures with TUV ISO 9002 and CE certificates.
